Life in a blur...

School is out, gymnastic competition season is over until fall, dance recitals are over- including dance itself, awards day has gone by, end of the school year parties have come to an end, cleaned out my classroom for summer, Ladies banquet at church went good, no more dropping the Jaybird off and picking her up at her Nannie/Papa daycare anymore, pool has been opened, camping trip has been done, and  now ...planning Vacation Bible school here I come!!!!

I have been trying to get things done in the last few weeks and it has caused my blogging to come to a close for a while. If I sit and look at all the things that I need to be doing, I tend to get overwhelmed, so lately I take it one thing at a time so I don't "freak out' as Jasy would say. Since we have allowed God to take control of our lives we our on a zigzag road where stops, turns, reverses, and pure stops are very frequent in our lives. Jason's truck tore up several times but was thankfully fixed by my Dad with hardly any money being forked out, his air is out however and I think he is sweating his body weight out daily, my car is making a crazy squeaking noise now, Jason has gotten pulled over twice in the last two  months but thankfully only got one ticket. The other was for no apparent at all, he wasn't speeding, he was wearing a seat belt, all tags and stickers up to date, no headlights/ brake lights out, just pulled over and accused of not wearing a seat belt? Hmm.... Our car Insurance was cancelled for no apparent reason.  When I called them they said that we had called and cancelled it???? It was up to date, just canceled that said BC someone called and cancelled it?! Hmm.... So you get my point, doing God's will is the best thing we have ever done but it has been the hardest.  Lots of days Jason and I just crash and don't even say a full sentence to each other BC we are speechless. Mentally, and physically drained but we keep going. Don't get me wrong, we love each other more than ever, we love our God more than ever, we are just living a whole new life that seems to keep us on our toes.

To catch you up a bit on our passing, exciting life, Jasy graduated the Nannie/Papa daycare that she has been attending for the last 3 years. It was bitter sweet for all involved. She loved staying there with them and they loved having her there. Tears will be shed from many here. I could never thank them enough for watching her while I worked and never charging me a penny! They are the best and I am truly blessed to have them as my parents! She is going to do so well in K-5 and I know that she will be a great student! If we can just convince her that  it's okay to let others help!

Eve survived 4th grade and did it with honors. She did so well in the MAP testing and with her grades that they put her in an accelerated Math class next year! She did the school proud with her Vice Presidency skills and had a ton of fun representing them with her extra tasks this year. She is working her level 6 skills in gymnastics and is making progress daily.

We had a blast camping!! I didn't like the whole aspect of dirt, frogs, and cold showers but everything else was tons of fun!!!!!!!! We are already planning another trip sometime this summer. The girls loved every minute of it and didn't want to come home.

I am glad to be off this summer with my girls and I can't wait to get memories to cherish for a lifetime. :)
