Here are some pictures from the recital this weekend. It was so much fun! The girls did great and had lots of fun. Jasy didn't get nervous at all and she even asked to do it again next year however she didn't understand why they didn't give out medals afterwards. She said that part stunk! Eve had her game face on during her performance, lol. No smile for her. What can I say, their blood just bleeds gymnastics after all?!
Two daughters, + a lovely surprise blessing, a husband and one Amazing Saviour...

First ever dance recital...
To all my friends and family....You are invited to my girls first ever dance recital! It is exciting to us BC my girls have never done anything other than gymnastics really. One time Eve played T-ball when she was 4 and 5. She was actually REALLY good at it! When she would get up to bat the other coaches would tell their team to move back, lol. She could nail that ball! She was a pretty good fielder too, when she wasn't doing cartwheels. Her daddy really wants her to play softball but she just doesn't want to give up gymnastics to do so. Then she played soccer one season. She gave that up after one season when she got whammed in the face and knocked over with the ball from a "9 year old". She was 5. Jasy has never done anything other than gymnastics. I started them both at it when they were 2, Jasy was 2 1/2 when she got to start. I think that Jasy would be a wham up soccer player BC that girl has some skill kicking, and dribbling balls but she doesn't want to play. When I came up with the idea of them doing ballet for a year to see if they liked it, they both were up for it and super excited! Jasy fell in love with it for a good two months and did it all the time! She is really good at it! She follows instructions really well, has learned all the positions taught, and looks absolutely adorable spinning around in her little tu -tus!! Does a Mama good! Eve had to do a combo class where they teach them half ballet and half jazz. She also had to start in a advanced class BC it's the only class time that would fit her 14 1/2 hour gymnastics training schedule. I was a little worried, well a lot worried about the jazz aspect and her catching on. Not as much with the ballet BC with gymnastics she already incorporates a lot of the ballet into her routines so she should be comfortable there. Her teacher assured me that she would catch on fast with her training background. For the most part she has. I do have to say that her ballet is GORGEOUS!!!! She has those long lines, and her gymnastics has really paid off there! Her jazz is another story. She is so used to being taught to be "tight" in gymnastics that she can't loosen up enough in her jazz. Don't get me wrong, she has the steps down, she has the beat down, but the "form" is just not there. She is so tight that if you went up to her and tried to knock her over she would not even budge lol. I guess if she decides to do cheer leading one day she will have that tightness that they need. So... we are super excited to watch our sweet little ones dance for a change. However, when I asked them if they wanted to continue with dance or gymnastics (it's just too much doing both) they both chose gymnastics hands down. Not that I don't love gymnastics, BC I do! But it has been nice having that little change for this year. So... now you understand why this recital is so important to us this year. It will probably be our last. :(

Tuesday tidbits...
Jason has his last day of school tonight!!! Oh yeah, it's my birthday!!! Oh yeah... he can cut grass!!! Just kidding but I am super excited to have him at home for a change, so are the girls!! Things have been a bit crazy this year. No more typing up papers until fall! Yippee!! I am also counting down until school gets out! 16 more days you know and 3 of those are half days! I can do it, I can do it! 4th grade has been a rather challenging year for Eve and I! She has amazing teachers that challenge them to the fullest and I am so thankful for all the hard work and effort that they have taken with those students. BUT...she has had 4 to 5 tests a week, homework in at least 2 subjects Monday through Thursday and 5 projects this year!!! Whew.... all I can do to keep up with it all. We study going down the road, we study at the table, we study getting ready, we study on the couch, we study in our sleep!!!!!!!! Between typing Jason's outlines, research papers, and Eve's tests, homework and projects you better believe that this Mama is smarter than a 5th grader now!!! Geez....
On another note...I was thinking earlier how random I am. I really am. I am not the ordinary mother/wife/person. Let me feel you in on the scoop on my daily dos;
On another note...I was thinking earlier how random I am. I really am. I am not the ordinary mother/wife/person. Let me feel you in on the scoop on my daily dos;
- I don't ever go to the grocery store. You can say I have a shopping assistant. Since Jason works in grocery stores for Pepsi, I give him lists and have him pick up what I need. Almost every morning I call him on the way to work and add to it. "Get milk, toothpaste, toilet paper, apples, etc". Isn't that nice?! I should be famous!
- We eat supper at 3:45 every day. We have to. With Jason swinging by the house with just enough time to change and scarf down dinner, and Eve going to gymnastics everyday we have to eat early.
- I tell Jasy that if she doesn't let me wash her blankie that it will grow legs and walk away. I am bad aren't I?!
- I call the students at school by other kids names all the time. It's really hard to remember every child's name in the school!! I just tell them it's BC I am old and senile and that I can't help it. So most of the time I just call them "girlfriend" or "cutie".
- I don't set my alarm clock myself. I let Jason do it BC setting my alarm clock depresses me! It's better to be "surprised" every morning when it goes off.
- I'm always getting odd and end jobs to help pay our expenses. One time I assembled Angel magnets at home, I sold vacuum cleaners, I sold Party Lite candles, I instructed Kickboxing at a gym, I set up appointments for an Insurance company, and now my latest, I am posting ads for a local company who sells items for companies or individuals. They mainly sell for businesses that go out of business, or for people who are moving or cleaning out their garage who need to get rid of things. I found it online and it turns out that their daughter goes to Upstate Gymnastics with Eve and Jasy! I have been praying for God to show me something to help out) :) I havent' sold anything yet, but I just started last week. Aren't my jobs so random!? Here's their website-http://www.movethatstuffsc.com/ If you need some chandeliers, latterns, doors, desks, nursery furniture, pictures, microwaves, sinks, washers, wall art, chairs, lunchroom trays, etc-I might be your girl! :) Just saying... Who knows... oneday I might be delivering pizza to homes, lol.
Okay, that's enough for now. I just wanted to share some tidbits of why I think that I am so random!! I need my own show! lol.

Mothers day Chap stick...
A friend of mine shared this story with me today. I thought it was a typical Mothers Day gift for sure! Enjoy a good laugh! Here's her story in her words...
"We had this great 10-year-old cat named Jack who just recently died. Jack was a great cat and the kids would carry him around and sit on him and nothing ever bothered him. He used to hang out and nap all day long on the bathroom mat. We have 3 kids, at the time of this story, they were 4 years old, 3 years old and 1 year old. The middle one is Eli. Eli really loved chap stick, LOVED it. He kept asking to use my chap stick and then losing it. Finally one day, I showed him where in the bathroom that I kept my chap stick. I explained he could use it whenever he wanted but he needed to put it right back in the drawer after he finished because I used it sometimes several times a day. That year, on Mother's Day, we were having the typical rush around to try to get ready for church with everyone crying and carrying on. My two boys were fighting over the toy in the cereal box. I am trying to nurse my little one at the same time I am putting on my make-up. Everything is a mess and everyone has long forgotten that this is a wonderful day to honor me and the amazing job that is motherhood. We finally have the older one and the baby loaded in the car, and I am looking for Eli. I have searched everywhere and I finally go into the bathroom. There was Eli. He was applying my chap stick very carefully to Jack's rear end. Eli looked right into my eyes and said "chapped..." Now if you have a cat, you know that he is right - their little bottoms do look pretty chapped. And, frankly, Jack didn't seem to mind. And, the only question to ask at that point was whether it was the FIRST time Eli had done that to the cat's behind or the hundredth!?! And THAT is my favorite Mother's Day moment ever, because it reminds us that no matter how hard we try to civilize these glorious little creatures, there will always be that day when you realize.... they've been using your chap stick on the cat's butt."

Bible V's Cellphone...
V'S
Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to Kids as gifts? What if we used it when we traveled?(we'd be asked to deplane!) What if we used it in case of emergency? This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible? Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being Disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls! When Jesus died on the cross, He was thinking of you!
I read this today and thought I would share... it really makes a lot of sense! We are so caught up in the "things of the world", little gadgets, technology, etc that we loose sight on what is really important! Without that Holy Book, we would be lost! Sure a lot of our cellphones even have gps's nowadays, but nothing like the one that is in that black book! :)

A Spring Break to remember...(for shizzle)
Spring break has sprung and now it is gone! Ouch!!! That's okay though, we had a blast! We traveled to Memphis Tennessee and spent a couple of nights with just the girls. My mom, sister and I and all the grand daughters went. Memphis will never be the same! Angel (my sister) is a die hard Elvis fan! Has been her entire life. That has been her lifelong goal to go there. She was like a child on Christmas morning. It was too funny! Jasy didn't quite understand why we were visiting a dead persons home but after we left she was singing "Blue Suede shoes", lol. It was an adventure for sure! I thought Angel would get arrested when she "accidentally" fell on Elivis' bed on the Lisa Marie airplane. Let us back up for a moment though... Getting there was a story in itself!
We left at 10:30 on Sunday night and drove all night long! After a while of driving we had to stop and use the restroom. It was 3:00 in the morning and every exit we took to find a restroom didn't look inviting. We finally couldn't hold it any longer, we stopped in Alabama. We pull up at a convenience store and Angel put the car in park when all of a sudden two men in stockings on their heads with brown bags come running out of the store!! I yell "kick it"!!!!!!!!! The girls were dieing laughing but I think we witnessed an armed robbery at it's best! Well we finally found a Wally World that looked hopeful so we were relieved (no pun intended). On down the road we head, it's about 5:00 in the am and we need gas. We are now in Mississippi (which I can spell in my sleep now since the girls spelled it for hours!!!!) Angel is asleep in the back of the car and the girls are STILL AWAKE playing games-yeah up all night. We pull in a well lit gas station to get gas. I pull up to the pump and out of the dark beside the building a lady appears dressed in men clothing. I think " oh nice she is going to pump our gas!" Um... no... more like try and steal our car or prostitute or something of that sort!! I still don't know what she was doing. She walked to my side of the car (the drivers side) and starts trying to get me to roll the window down or get out, my mom yells "kick it" and off we go! I think I ran over "its" shoes! Oops!!! I should have put her/him in the back of the car with Angel for her to wake up to a nice surprise, lol. On down the road we go. We got to the hotel and well the room stunk to high Heaven and Angel swore she had body lice from it from our two minutes of being there. (Angel booked the room BTW) We decided to go eat breakfast and head to Graceland! It was fun! I really did enjoy it. I had a terrible headache from no sleep and low platelets so I think I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't have to diet on Tylenol all day. We went the next day to Memphis zoo, it was HUGE!!! We really enjoyed the Panda Pooping and the Buddha statue. Kaitlyn even videoed the Panda pooping in closeup. What can we say, we are touched! The China section was cool though! I look over and Angel is sitting with Buddha worshiping. We start to make fun of him and his diaper and we hear giggling behind us. A sweet little Chinese woman was watching Angel man handle Buddha's Boobies. Our poor kids! After we eat dinner we go for a little shopping. This one store had really nice things in the window front so we decided to check it out. When we enter everything is NEON, and well ethnic. I was able to find a dress to wear when I find my Babies daddy though!
Later we went on a beautiful carriage tour of downtown Memphis. The Mississippi River is breathtaking!!!! We must have looked rich in that Cinderella carriage BC people kept asking us for money??? They also were so nice and wanted to hold our purses and take pictures for us with our cameras!!! Jasy said we were in the Ghetto! Elvis must have had some soul in his blood after all.
We traveled into Arkansas too. Angel insisted that we travel over the big bridge just to say we went to Little Rock. She almost let out a little rock there BC she stunk our car all up!Then we had to roll the windows down and it was very windy that evening. My moms KIA almost ended up in the M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I! Crazy nut!
All in all, it was loads of fun! It was nice to let go and have a ton of laughs! A few lice, hijacking, prostitutes, armed robbery, farts, and hobos aren't going to ruin our trip! They helped make it a memorable one! So to them I say...Thank you , Thank you very much!
Easter was glorious! The weather coudn't have been better. What a beautiful day to celebrate My Christs ressurection! Without His rising, where would we be! I am so glad that He paid that debt for us and paved the way for eternal life! Our Savior is Alive and unlike Buddha He hears us when we call. All we have to do is dial Him up. I got this email the other day that I thought was neat, so I am going to share-
A man in Topeka , Kansas decided to write a book about churches around the country. He started by flying to San Francisco and started working east from there. Going to a very large church, he began taking photographs and making notes. He spotted a golden telephone on the vestibule wall and was intrigued with a sign, which read "Calls: $10,000 a minute."
Seeking out the pastor he asked about the phone and the sign. The pastor answered that this golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to heaven and if he pays the price he can talk directly to GOD.
The man thanked the pastor and continued on his way. As he continued to visit churches in Seattle , Houston ( Mississippi of course), St. Louis , Chicago , Milwaukee , and many cities and towns all around the United States , he found more phones, with the same sign, and the same answer from each pastor.
Finally, he arrived in Lexington , upon entering a church in the beautiful state of South Carolina , behold, he saw the usual golden telephone. But THIS time, the sign read "Calls: 35 cents".
Fascinated, he asked to talk to the pastor, "Reverend, I have been in cities all across the country and in each church I have found this golden telephone and have been told it is a direct line to Heaven and that I could talk to GOD, but in the other churches the cost was $10,000 a minute. Your sign reads only 35 cents a call. Why?
"I love this part ...
The pastor, smiling broadly, replied, "Son, you're in South Carolina now - you're in God's Country. It's a local call."

Shout outs...
Shout out one: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY HONEY TODAY!!!!! 11 YEARS OF PURE BLISS! Well...not "pure bliss", but definitely the best 11 years of my life!!!
Shout out two: I am so happy today BC I can feel God working in our lives and I know that we are fixing to turn that corner! Ever since my last post, I have been focusing my worries and frets into brainstorming and work on Vacation Bible school. That has really helped a lot! I have gotten so much done in just those days and I am excited and pumped up about planning this with my BFF!!! (Shout out three: to Andrea Herd!!!!) I went from earlier in the week feeling like I wanted to give up on things to feeling like I want to tackle more!! Weird, huh?! God is so good to me and I could never thank Him enough for always being by my side. Hearing every prayer, and working for me!
No, Jason and I aren't going on a trip like we had wanted, no expensive gifts for each other, not even a card might I add was purchased, but I think this might be the best Anniversary we have ever had! We accomplished so much together this year, we cried together, fought together, worked together, sweat together, rode the roads together (well separately but we both lived on the roads) and yet we found strength and hope in each other through everything. I am thankful for that. I am thankful for him. I am thankful for my life lessons making me who I am right now and the life lessons I will have tomorrow!
Shout out four: I am thankful for SPRING BREAK BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shout out five: Hugs and kisses to all my peeps!!! Love you bunches-
